ACSRecognizes 76 NSQIP Hospitals for Meritorious Surgical Patient Outcomes

Last week, the ACSrecognized 76 hospitals in the adult ACSNational Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACSNSQIP®) for achieving meritorious outcomes for surgical patient care in 2024.

ACSNSQIP-participating hospitals are required to track the outcomes of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures in eight clinical areas; these outcomes are then analyzed by ACSand reported back to hospitals. These results will inform patient safety initiatives within the hospital and impact the quality of surgical care.
