The ACSis now accepting applications for the 2027鈥2029 Clinical Scholar in Residence Program, a prestigious 2-year, onsite fellowship focused on outcomes research, health services research, healthcare policy, and quality improvement. For the 2027鈥2029 cycle, the focus area will be on cancer.
The selected Cancer Clinical Scholar for this program will work closely with ACSCancer Programs staff and national physician leaders to advance high-impact quality improvement initiatives and conduct meaningful research in surgical oncology and cancer care. Scholars receive robust mentorship in clinical research, statistics, and health services research, while collaborating with experts across the country. As part of the program, participants also earn a master鈥檚 degree aligned with their research focus.
One Cancer Clinical Scholar position is open for the 2027鈥2029 period. Applications will be accepted through April 13. Applicants must have completed at least 3 years of clinical training, be US citizens, and obtain approval from their home institution.
