Opt In to Automatic CME Credit Reporting to ABS

Opt in today to automatically have your Å˽ðÁ«´«Ã½Ó³»­-accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) information transmitted to the American Board of Surgery (ABS) via the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

The automatic transmission applies to all learners who have an ACSprofile, are Diplomates of the ABS, and have provided their ABS ID and date of birth in the ACSMyCME Portal on the Board Certification page.

To opt in, you should:

  1. Log in to your .
  2. Select Send CME tab.
  3. Toggle to Opt In (green) “I choose to opt in and permit the ACSto automatically transfer all my Å˽ðÁ«´«Ã½Ó³»­-Accredited CME data to my chosen specialty board.â€

You can change your preferences and opt out at any time.

This arrangement with the ABS and ACCME is phase one; the ACSis also working on autotransfer protocols with other surgical boards.
